Samuel Lifshitz, M.D., F.A.C.O.G., F.A.C.S.
Dr. Lifshitz attended medical school at the National University of Mexico, where he graduated with highest honors.  He performed a rotating internship at Rambam Hospital in Israel and at Maimonides Medical Center, Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, New York. This is where he completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology receiving awards as an outstanding resident. His fellowship in gynecologic oncology was performed at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Dr. Lifshitz is a past professor and director of the division of gynecologic oncology at the University of Iowa and at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. He is currently a clinical professor in obstetrics and gynecology at Southwestern Medical School and director of the gynecologic oncology fellowship program at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Dr. Lifshitz has published extensively peer reviewed articles in the Subspecialty of Gynecologic Oncology and chapters on leading medical texts. 

Dr. Lifshitz is Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Gynecologic Oncology. Among the many professional organizations which we he is affiliated, Dr. Lifshitz is a fellow of:

• American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology

• American College of Surgeons

• Society of Gynecologic Oncologists

• Dallas County Medical Society
